Bennett Architectural were employed for the second year running to refurbish large elements of the Ninestiles Academy in Birmingham.
Early engagement with the client, Birmingham City Council, resulted in rationalisation of the design of Ninestiles Academy which in turn provided accurate and detailed costings for the funding application.
The building, based in Acocks Green, has been transformed into a more modern teaching facility by using Kawneer’s AA3610 vertical sliding windows and AA100 curtain walling across the site.
Our team utilised Kawneer’s vertical sliding windows as they maximise ventilation, making them ideal for schools and hospital buildings.
As part of the Summit Learning Trust, the comprehensive secondary school now houses nearly 1,500 pupils.
