Part of the Beswick Community Hub master plan, Bennett Architectural were chosen by Laing O’Rourke to provide the glazing solutions for both Beswick Leisure Centre & Connell Sixth Form College.
Both designs are informed by the project wide design language, bringing synchronicity.
The AA100 curtain walling incorporates flush appearance caps horizontally, expressed caps vertically and a coloured interlayer to the Leisure Centre.
The AA100 curtain walling to the college needed to manage solar gain, acoustics and privacy for the adjacent CFA grounds, which was facilitated by vertical brise soleil. A bright green interlayer within the glazing brings synergy with the surrounding green from the landscape.
