Our Design Manager is supported by a design team of Technicians with various Architectural, Engineering and System Supplier qualifications.
Additionally, our Design Manager holds a Masters Degree in Façade Engineering which included a dissertation on BIM and how it will impact a Curtain Wall sub-contractor in the UK.

Training
The Design Team are given both in-house and external training covering a wide range of topics, including Kawneer Product Knowledge and Curtain Wall design courses.
For example, these courses include training on specialist products such as:
- Fire & smoke stops
- Louvres
- Glass
- Fixings
- CWCT on-line training
- Revit software
- Automatic doors
- Façade Automation (including Smoke Vents)

BIM
At the end of 2013 the Company embarked on its first BIM project with one of our Key Contractors and will be one of the first Kawneer dealers to incorporate ‘BIM Families’ within a Project BIM.
Our use of BIM allows us to ensure we offer cutting edge design for your project as well as provides an easier way of monitoring the efficiency of our products for the future.
