Bennett Architectural were contacted to provide the architectural aluminium glazing solutions for John Taylor Free School, Burton-upon-Trent.
The school is the first new build secondary school in Staffordshire for nearly 50 years and required close collaboration with the ESFA and DfE to guarantee that our products would meet the high specifications relevant to a project within the Education sector.
Our involvement in the project included the fabrication and install of Kawneer’s AA100 Curtain Walling, AA720 Windows and brise soleil elements.
The site, which is designed to facilitate more than 1500 students at full capacity, was opened to students in late 2018.
