Bennett Architectural worked with Sir Robert McAlpine on the new Maggie’s Centre at The Christie Hospital in Manchester.
The new Centre is built within the grounds of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, is designed by Foster + Partners, and is the charity’s largest site to date.
Lionel Grant, Managing Director at Bennett Architectural says, “We were delighted to be involved with this project for Maggie’s, following our work on the new Research Centre at Christies.
“This new facility will offer tremendous support to patients and their families at very challenging times in their lives, and we are proud to be involved in something so worthwhile.”
“The centre was officially opened in April 2016 by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall, you can read about the opening on the Maggie’s website.
Maggie’s Manchester has won 13 awards to date, with the most recent being the Project of the Year (under £10m) at the BCI Awards in October 2017.
