The prestigious Royal Birmingham Conservatoire has been named as a finalist in three categories of the West Midlands Property Awards.
Insider’s property awards are a showcase of the biggest and best from across the West Midlands: a unique moment to honour the quality of the sector; celebrating the remarkable achievements of the region’s commercial sector.
The custom built Conservatoire is a finalist in the Sustainability, Construction Project of the Year and Regeneration Project of the Year categories.
Bennett Architectural worked alongside Galliford Try and Fielden Clegg Bradley Studios to design, supply and install Kawneer AA100 windows and AA720 curtain walling systems and achieve one of the highest levels of acoustic attentuation in the world.
Lionel Grant, Managing Director at Bennett Architectural commented,
“It’s quite astounding just how many awards the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire has been a finalist for during this year.
“This was a complex project for our team, but seeing the coverage it is receiving is recognition for every part of the supply chain involved in the project.”
This continues a lucrative year for the project having already being announced as a contender for the Construction News Awards, AJ Architecture Awards and winning RIBA West Midlands Project of the Year as well as winning two awards at the RICS West Midlands Awards.
The West Midlands Property Awards take place on 1 November 2018 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
