The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire has been shortlisted for the Best Construction Project to Work On (Building) category at the Construction Enquirer Awards.

The purpose-built music facility in central Birmingham is one of 16 projects in the running, with the winner decided by a public vote on the Construction Enquirer website.

Bennett Architectural worked alongside Galliford Try and architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios to design, supply and install Kawneer AA100 windows and AA720 curtain walling systems and achieve one of the highest levels of acoustic attentuation in the world.

Lionel Grant, Managing Director at Bennett Architectural commented,

“It’s great to see one of our flagship projects from last year nominated for yet another award.

“As the winners is decided by public vote we would encourage everyone to vote for the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

“This project is just one of a host of award winning buildings in our portfolio.”
