Two members of the Bennett Architectural have completed a two day training course at Pilkington Glass in St. Helens.
As part of the companies on-going commitment to developing our staff, Julie Stanley, Purchasing Manager and Gareth Holland, Purchasing Co-Ordinator attended the introductory course designed for non-technical staff.
The programme for the course included –
- Flat glass manufacture
- Thermal insulation and solar control
- Safety and Security
- Fire protection
- Noise control
- Decoration and privacy
- Self-cleaning
- Special applications
- Visits to float glass production and new off-line coater

Bennett Architectural has worked with Pilkington Glass on many projects including more recently the Aldi Head Office planar ‘glass box’, Ainsdale Train Station and Meadowhall Shopping Centre.
