Aluminium glazing specialists Bennett Architectural have been chosen to supply and install Kawneer doors, windows and curtain walling for the £10m expansion of Manchester Health Academy.

The Wythenshawe-based Academy was selected by Manchester City Council to expand its student population, with numbers predicted to rise from 750 to 1100 students by 2022.

This expansion will see the addition of new dining room extension, multi-use games are and an FA standard all-weather pitch for students and community use.

Lionel Grant, Managing Director at Bennett Architectural commented,

“Our team brings a wealth of experience of working in the Education sector and we have no doubt we will help to create another excellent facility for students at Manchester Health Academy.”

Mr. Green, Principal of the Manchester Health Academy added,

“I am delighted with the way the Academy’s expansion is coming to fruition. These new facilities will provide our students with an excellent environment that will optimise their learning experience, whilst providing our teaching team with state-of-the-art tools to succeed.”

The expansion of Manchester Health Academy will open in September 2018.
