Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work in Logistics for Bennett Architectural?
We spoke to Keith Hawthorne from our Logistics team about his typical working day.
Tell us 3 words to describe your job?
Interesting, rewarding and satisfying.
What can you remember about your first day/week at Bennetts?
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I was made to feel very welcome and soon realised it was a happy family company to work for.
What is a typical day in Logistics?
Going to different project sites right across the country to deliver doors and windows from our workshop.
How would you describe your job to a stranger?
It’s my responsibility to make sure the materials are loaded, safe and protected.
What’s the biggest challenge in your job?
Making sure the products are delivered on time and safely.
Tell us what you’re working on at the moment?
Superbowl St. Helens, New Grange University Hospital, Taylor’s of Harrogate, Aldi, Abcam Bio-Medical Campus and other smaller projects.
What has been your crowning achievement to date at Bennetts?
Seeing the HQ Chester project completed. This was because we had manufactured this from our previous premises in Parsonage Street, which was a totally different environment than here at Rosevale Business Park.
