Bennett Architectural celebrated 60 years since its incorporation in 2020, a year which presented many challenges but was also filled with achievements and innovative thinking as we adapt to life with Covid-19.
Throughout 2020, we continued to offer guidance and support to our customers and partners during both of the UK’s national lockdowns whilst consistently following the government’s advice on keeping our business COVID secure.
We were involved in 28 projects throughout the course of last year, continuing to deliver the trusted and high-quality service that our customers now know they can rely on even in unprecedented circumstances.
Two of our most notable projects last year were The Grange University Hospital in Wales and HMP Five Wells in Northamptonshire.
The Grange University Hospital was a project that utilised Modern Methods of Construction which lead to part of the project being completed almost a year ahead of schedule, into which the team at Bennett Architectural installed Kawneer’s curtain walling and window systems.
HMP Five Wells was another project involving the use of offsite manufacturing techniques, for which Bennett Architectural provided Kawneer’s aluminium curtain walling, window and door systems that had to meet the high specifications requested by the Ministry of Justice.
The Facilities Management division of our business is continuing to thrive, and we completed a large number of replacements and remediations this year, a testament to our 60 years of experience in the industry.
This was not the way we had planned to celebrate Bennett Architectural’s 60th year of trading, but it will certainly be one that we will remember.
We want to thank the team at Bennett Architectural, and everyone who worked with us throughout 2020, for their continued support and dedication in making Bennett Architectural what it is today.
As we look forward into 2021, we are grateful for the innovation that this year’s circumstances have brought forward and plan to continue building on it.
