The Bennett’s aluminium glazing windows have highly flexible opening systems and feature a unique thermal break design.

Manufactured to the highest standards, the Bennett Architectural healthcare windows are packed with safety features, are environmentally friendly and are easy to clean.

Featured options include:

• Permanent perforated mesh that protects open areas available in self coloured stainless steel or powder coated finishes.
• Anti-Ligature hardware.
• Concealed lock (lockable in open or closed position)
• External beading
• A unique thermal break design
• A virtually unbreakable polycarbonate internal skin is available to ensure occupant safety
• Anti-Ligature integral blinds (optional extra)

Our windows can be tailored to meet client requirements - for example a hinged external mesh panel can be added to our horizontal window to allow easy cleaning

Our vertical sliding window has an easy open operation allowing for maximum ventilation space of 200mm at both top and bottom

A rigorous range of security tests have been performed on the horizontal sliding system including:

• 15 minute fire extinguisher attack test
• 20/25 strikes with a snooker ball in a sock (used as a truncheon)
• 30 blows to the window using a wardrobe door, drawer unit, belt buckle, shoe heel, small stone, flint or any other implement detached in further tests to remove part of window with a knife, fork or spoon
• Kicking window and frame 30 times (Standing on furniture at window level)
• Attempt to remove gasket/seals with a tool such as a key, pen, belt buckle or fingers
• Attempt to defeat window restrictors via deflection, distortion by repeated pushing and pulling
• Attempt to lift sashes out of frame
• Attempt to remove window fittings using a key, pen, ruler, belt buckle, fingers, small stone or flint
• Attempt to form a ligature point using key, pen, belt buckle, string or shoelace, towel or sheet
• Independently tested to ENV 1627 Class 2 by SKG test institute in the Netherlands (security hardware required).
