Description The first of the Manchester "Building Schools for the Future" projects. This project has since been used as an exemplar project for other BSF schemes within the UK. Bennett were engaged at an early stage to offer design advice direct to the client Manchester City Council. Integrated windows within cladding panels were used extensively on this project. |

Description Solar gain issues were high on the agenda for this project without sacrificing good looks. Bennett developed vertical and horizontal brise soleil using western red cedar blades. Kawneer thermally performing windows, doors and curtain wall were used on this project. |

Description As with many of our education projects, the safety and security of the pupils was priority on this primary school. Anti-finger trap systems were used on all doors, security glazing and "secure by design" window systems were designed, and access control systems introduced. This is just one of may projects completed for the Manchester City Council Capital Programme Wave 1 regeneration of primary schools. |
